WB-01 Screening Bucket – Developed and Manufactured by Wühlbox

The WB-01 Screening Bucket is an in-house development by Wühlbox, specifically designed for demanding RC construction model applications. Following an extensive development and testing phase with numerous improvements and optimizations, the fully developed production version is now available.

Developed and Tested Under Real-World Conditions

Before the WB-01 entered production, the screening bucket was extensively tested at various RC model construction events using a wide range of materials and operating conditions.

Particular attention was paid to reliable operation, durability and long service life. The experience gained during these practical tests was incorporated directly into the continuous development and optimization of the separator.

Robust Stainless-Steel Construction

The main body of the WB-01 is manufactured from stainless steel. The individual components are precisely manufactured and permanently joined using a modern laser welding process.

The complete housing is powder-coated to provide a durable, high-quality surface finish. This not only gives the separator its professional appearance but also provides excellent protection for demanding everyday use.

Powerful 12-Volt Drive

The heavy-duty steel screening shafts are driven via a robust spur gear system powered by a powerful 12 V geared motor.

The entire drive system has been designed for reliable material processing and high mechanical loads, making the WB-01 suitable for demanding RC construction applications.

Intelligent Automatic Anti-Jam Function

One of the key features of the WB-01 is its intelligent control system.

If the drive becomes blocked by a stone or other material, the system detects the increased load and automatically reverses the direction of rotation. This helps release the blockage without requiring manual intervention.

Once the obstruction has been cleared, the system automatically switches back to the normal working direction and continues operation.

This automatic control function can be programmed on FrSky transmitters equipped with the ETHOS operating system. Detailed programming instructions are included with the WB-01.

Complete Electronics Package

The WB-01 is supplied with a complete prepared wiring harness including:

• Electronic speed controller

• Upstream current sensor

• Required wiring for the screening bucket

This means the essential electronic components required for integration into the RC model are already included.

Flexible Mounting System

The top of the WB-01 features multiple threaded mounting holes, allowing all commonly used attachment plates to be bolted directly to the screening bucket.

This makes it easy to adapt the WB-01 to different excavators and quick-coupler systems.

An optional bolt-on universal mounting plate is also available. This provides a practical base for fabricating or welding your own customized mounting bracket to suit the required quick-coupler system.

The Wühlbox WB-01 combines robust mechanical engineering, intelligent control technology and flexible mounting options – developed, tested and manufactured for demanding RC construction model applications.
