The new LESU swing motor is a highly recommended upgrade for the LESU Liebherr R956, significantly improving the performance and holding capability of the swing drive.

The previous version used a servo-based swing drive. Since this system did not provide sufficient self-locking capability, the weight of the upper structure could cause it to rotate by itself when the excavator was positioned on an incline.

The upgraded version uses a significantly more powerful motor combined with a worm gear drive.
