We now only use this controller for spindle motors because all other competitor products do not meet our requirements.
RC - DC controller for controlling small DC motors, especially for spindle drives.
It includes a switch-off function when the motor is blocked (e.g. for spindles without a limit switch).
After a blockage, the starting current is briefly increased when starting in the opposite direction in order to release blocked spindles.
The circuit has the following properties:
- HV-compatible (up to 13V ! )
- Large voltage range from the drive battery (4.5V to 17V)
- without BEC
- Motor-specific startup behavior (measured when switching on)
- Engine brake at standstill
- Status signaling by means of sound output
- many controller protection mechanisms (resettable during operation):
- Short circuit protection
- Over Current Shutdown
- Overheat Protection
- Protection against incorrect battery voltage (not for all variants)
- Reverse polarity protection (not with all variants)
